About Ethan
Hi. I'm Ethan. I'm currently studying to be a physical therapist, but before that I spent a year teaching middle school math which reminded me how much I enjoy helping others learn. I've a lot of experience teaching not only in the school setting, but also as a tutor in multiple subjects throughout college primarily in the math and sciences. I am also an avid musician and love to help people find the joy of music even within other subjects.

Whether it be a quick refresher or a deep dive into a concept, my lessons are focused on you. My teaching philosophy revolves around the idea that each one of us is unique so our learning styles need to fit us. I use your learning style to design effective sessions. I start each session with a quick catch up to get to know you and to learn more about what you are struggling with. Next we go into some basic review where we work through topics together and as you feel more confident, you begin doing more on your own. Then to finish the session, we push your knowledge with challenging problems or topics to make sure that you really know the topic.
