I teach in a way that reflects the methods I have used to achieve my goals in the past. I start my lessons with an activity to revise previous work and consolidate on this knowledge. Following this, I typically spend a small amount of time teaching the subject of the week if appropriate before moving onto exam questions which are the core of achieving success in education.
I utilise the teaching methods of spaced repetition, retrieval practice and problem solving to learn content in an accelerated way. In addition, I pride myself on my willingness to share my skills on improving study resources (flashcards, mind maps etc).
