About Joshua
Hi, I’m Mr Joshua H, and I’m really excited to be your science tutor! I’ve always had a passion for science — not just for how it explains the world around us, but for how it encourages curiosity, critical thinking, and problem-solving. I started tutoring because I genuinely enjoy helping students understand tricky topics, build confidence, and realise what they’re capable of. I know that science can sometimes feel overwhelming, especially when it comes to exam pressure. That’s why my approach is calm, supportive, and tailored to each student. About My Tutoring Approach I offer GCSE and A-Level Science tutoring at an affordable rate, starting from £15 per session. Each lesson is 1 hour 30 minutes to 2 hours long, allowing plenty of time to cover key content and work through practice questions in depth. My teaching style is calm, structured, and student-focused. I break down complex topics into simple, manageable steps and adapt each session to match the student’s learning pace and confidence level. I make regular use of exam-style questions, interactive discussion, and visual resources to reinforce understanding and build exam technique. My lessons are ideal for students who: Are preparing for GCSE or A-Level Science exams (all exam boards welcome) Need help catching up, building confidence, or pushing for top grades Prefer a supportive, friendly environment to ask questions and stay motivated
