About Sangeetha
I’ve been trained in Indian classical Carnatic music for 12+ years, and singing has always been an important part of my life. Music has always been a meaningful part of my life, and I enjoy sharing that knowledge with others in a calm, supportive, and encouraging way.
I believe that learning music should feel enjoyable and comfortable, especially for beginners. My classes focus on building a strong foundation in shruti, rhythm, voice training, and classical fundamentals while helping students gradually gain confidence in their singing abilities.
I welcome learners of all ages who are interested in exploring South Indian classical music, whether you are completely new to Carnatic music or looking to strengthen your basics. I aim to create a positive and friendly learning environment where students can learn at their own pace and develop a genuine appreciation for music

I teach Indian classical Carnatic vocal music with a patient, structured, and supportive approach tailored to each student’s learning pace and goals. My lessons focus on building a strong foundation in shruti (pitch alignment), rhythm, voice training, pronunciation, and classical fundamentals while also encouraging confidence and enjoyment in singing.
A typical class may include basic vocal exercises, swara practice, rhythm training, simple exercises, and learning classical songs progressively from beginner to intermediate level. I also focus on improving listening skills, consistency in practice, and clarity in singing.
Having trained in Carnatic music for 12 years, my aim is to make classical music approachable and enjoyable for learners of all ages. Lessons are suitable for beginners as well as intermediate students who wish to strengthen their basics and develop their vocal skills in South Indian classical music.
