About Kaili
I am trilingual in French, Mandarin Chinese and English, achieving a top 1% score on HSK Level 6 and an overall score of 18/20 on my French Baccalauréat.
I grew up in Shanghai and Paris, studied Law at SOAS University of London for my undergraduate degree, completed the Legal Practice Course at BPP, and recently graduated from UCL with an LLM in Corporate Law.
From founding the peer-to-peer tutoring scheme at the Shanghai French School, to tutoring GCSE Maths through CoachBright. I have a total of 5 years of tutoring experience and have taught Mandarin Chinese, French, Sciences and other subjects. Additionally, I have experience providing interpretation and translation services for law firms and a London-based art gallery. I also achieved a Distinction for my Master's thesis in Corporate Law, which delved into regulations concerning Private Equity investments in both the UK and China.

I started tutoring languages to my peers in middle school and always adopted a fun approach. As an experienced and friendly tutor, I quickly identify the student's strengths and areas for improvement, enabling me to craft a personalised plan to achieve goals.
For example, my non-English speaking aunt had to pass an English language test for her visa application. Through three weeks of intensive preparation, with four hours of daily classes, she successfully passed on her first attempt. Experiences like this are incredibly rewarding to me, which is why I have such a strong passion for teaching and tutoring.
I teach Mandarin Chinese, French and English from beginners to intermediate level, including HSK exam preparation for Mandarin Chinese. I can help you improve your conversation, grammar, and pronunciation.
I also proofread applications for undergraduate/masters law degrees, legal essays, problem question answers and dissertations.
