About Rachel
I’m an enthusiastic Computer Programming Tutor with 6 years of experience helping learners understand coding and computer science concepts. Throughout my teaching journey, I have worked with students at different levels and supported them in developing both technical knowledge and logical thinking skills.
I believe that anyone can learn programming when concepts are explained clearly and practiced consistently. My lessons focus on understanding rather than memorizing code. I break complicated topics into smaller sections, demonstrate practical examples, and give students opportunities to apply their knowledge through exercises and projects.
Depending on your goals, I can assist with programming basics, problem-solving, algorithms, data structures, object-oriented programming, debugging, and project development. I can also support students who need help preparing for tests, completing coursework, or strengthening their coding abilities for future studies.
With 6 years of tutoring experience, I understand that every learner has a unique pace and preferred way of learning. I therefore adjust my lessons according to individual needs, strengths, and areas requiring improvement.
My objective is to create a relaxed and encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. I want my students to finish each lesson with greater understanding, improved confidence, and practical skills they can apply independently.

Welcome to my programming lessons! I enjoy teaching computer science in a friendly, approachable way that helps students feel comfortable with coding. I believe programming becomes much easier when lessons are clear, engaging, and connected to practical situations.
My tutoring sessions can be tailored to your individual needs. We can begin with the basics, including variables, conditions, loops, functions, and object-oriented concepts, or move toward more advanced areas such as algorithms, data structures, software development, and project building. I can also help learners improve their understanding of specific programming languages and technologies.
I use a hands-on teaching style where students actively write and analyse code instead of only listening to explanations. We work through examples together, identify mistakes, understand why errors occur, and develop effective strategies for solving programming problems.
Every learner has a different background and pace, so I adjust my teaching methods accordingly. Whether you are starting from zero, preparing for an academic assessment, working on a coding project, or aiming to improve your professional skills, I can help you move forward step by step.
