About Isabel
I'm a Fashion Design graduate with hands-on experience across a range of professional studios — from demi-couture to high street production. My background spans the full spectrum of garment making: industrial and hand sewing, traditional and digital pattern cutting, size scaling, draping, and a wide variety of construction techniques across womenswear, menswear, sportswear and lingerie.
Having worked with both industrial machinery and handcraft methods in real studio environments, I bring a practical, industry-grounded perspective to everything I teach. I understand how garments are made at every level — from the first block to the finished piece — and I love passing that knowledge on in a way that's accessible, honest and genuinely useful.

Whether you're dreaming of building your own capsule wardrobe or laying the groundwork for a future in fashion design, my beginner-friendly pattern cutting lessons are the perfect place to start.
Together we'll explore the fundamentals of pattern drafting, starting with simple blocks and gradually building towards more complex, unique outcomes that are truly your own. We'll move through both 2D and 3D pattern cutting techniques, giving you a well-rounded skill set that lets you work with confidence, creativity and efficiency.
Fashion and sustainability are deeply connected for me. I believe that how we make clothes matters just as much as what we make — so throughout our lessons we'll always be mindful of material usage, cutting efficiency and reducing waste. These aren't just rules to follow, they're habits that will make you a more thoughtful and resourceful designer in the long run.
That said, creativity needs room to breathe. While I'll always encourage sustainable practice, you'll have the freedom to experiment, explore and find your own approach as your skills grow.
