About Emma
I hold an undergraduate degree in Psychology, as well as postgraduate credentials in Autism and Behavioral Science. I have completed my CASA certification and Elementary Montessori teacher training, and I am currently halfway through my Bachelor of Education at Wilfrid Laurier University. I also hold a Transitional Certificate of Qualification and Registration with the Ontario College of Teachers (OCT).
With over 12 years of experience teaching in Montessori schools across the Greater Toronto Area (GTA), I have developed a strong foundation in supporting diverse learners and fostering engaging, student-centered learning environments.

As a tutor, I tailor my approach to meet each student where they are in their learning journey. I begin by conducting diagnostic assessments to identify their current skills, strengths, and areas for growth. Using this information, I design individualized lessons that build strong math processing skills, strengthen foundational math facts, and deepen conceptual understanding. Each session is aligned with the Ontario Mathematics curriculum, helping students develop confidence, improve problem-solving abilities, and achieve meaningful academic progress.
