About Julie

Hi! I'm Julie. I am a 2023 graduate from the Queensland Academy for Health Sciences and achieved an IB 44.5/ 99.75 ATAR. I am currently studying Medical Science with direct provisional entry into Griffith University's Medicine at the Sunshine Coast! I know what it's like to want to improve your marks and how difficult it may be to do it on your own. That's why I'm here to help!

Subjects offered (All high 7/7 grades):
️Biology (HL/SL) - All 7s throughout the IB + 24/24 IA + Overall Best 2023 Biology HL QAHS Student
️Chemistry (HL/SL) - 21/24 IA
️Psychology (HL/SL) - 20/22 IA + 9/9 and 8/9 marks for SAQs PLUS 20+/22 Paper 2 Essays
️Mandarin ab initio (SL only) - 28/30 IO
️Maths AA (SL only) - 16/20 IA
️Psychology EE and TOK - both A

I can assist you in any questions you have as well as help with IAs, IO, EE and TOK!

About the lesson

My philosophy is simple - with the right guidance and explanation, difficult concepts can be easy to understand. My strategy is to provide students with fun and simple ways to make learning easier and improve scores. As a tutor, I also aim to enhance your confidence about the subject, so you enjoy it!

When I was an IB student studying for those hard exams, I found the tips and tricks that would get me the top marks (you can too)! I am happy to share my notes during lessons as well as go over exam strategies, key definitions, and classic IB traps that can prevent you from losing marks.

- Online lessons via Zoom or Skype available any day of the week
- Face-to face lessons available only on Tuesdays, Wednesdays or Saturdays at Southport library.
- Not offering travel to students' homes
