I am Audrey Osei-Boateng, a passionate Spanish tutor and teacher with years of experience and a deep passion for teaching Spanish to learners of all levels. With a solid academic background and a proven track record of success, I am committed to guiding you on your journey to proficiency in the Spanish language. I recently graduated with an M.A. in Spanish Language and Literature at my alma mater where for 2 years, I tutored and taught Spanish.

My techniques are deeply rooted in professionalism and a genuine desire to see my students bear global competency with Spanish as a start. About the lesson

- I blend various teaching techniques such as the communicative approach, task-based learning, and audio-lingual method to create a dynamic and engaging learning experience with emphasis on practical communication skills, grammar comprehension, vocabulary acquisition, and cultural competency. I leverage interactive activities, multimedia resources, role-plays, and realia (real-life scenarios) to make learning Spanish not only effective but enjoyable.
My typical lesson plan:
Introduction: A brief review of previous lessons with a fun icebreaker activity to set the mood mostly Kahoot.
Vocabulary and Grammar: Introduce new vocabulary and grammar concepts through interactive exercises, gamification, and examples.
Speaking Practice: Engage students in speaking activities such as dialogues, role-plays, or discussions to reinforce language skills and boost confidence.
Listening and Reading Comprehension: Employ audiovisuals or texts (authentic) to enhance listening and reading comprehension skills.
Writing: Writing tasks mostly creative writing exercises or essays to improve written communication skills.
Cultural Competency/Awareness: Cultural elements to deepen students' understanding of Spanish-speaking countries and their cultures.
Review and Feedback: Wrap up the lesson with a review of key concepts with gamification while providing constructive feedback to students on their progress.
