About Abigail
I am someone who enjoys when I can help other people feel confident in what they are doing. In the category of education I love being in a position where I can remind students that they got it & can hit their goals, no matter what their schedule is looking like.
I have been blessed to be able to work with many different categories of students. I know how to help them feel progress. For some, it can even be very unmotivating when it feels like they are not smart enough to succeed. Or sometimes they don't even know how they'll understand a concept with so much on the schedule! Different situations for everyone.
In over the 5+ years of my experience I've gained much knowledge in ways that I can use methods & techniques based on someones condition & how they learn.

I am a great tutor because I know how to alter my methods and techniques to help a student understand a concept. This is very important because as a tutor it is also my job to help out the teacher have her students understand the material learned in class, but as a teacher it may be hard to do with multiple different types of students in one room.
I am also great at helping students feel comfortable and also have them feel that they’re making progress. It is very unmotivating to them when they feel like they are not smart enough. I have tutored in many scenarios that include in college, high school, and online. This has given me the experience to work with all types of students
A technique that I use first is to ask questions & give them learning problems towards their subject. While I see them directly work on a problem it lets me know how they approach it and what need to be improved on. With the information I can see & build on those skills. Tools such as critical thinking, positive reinforcements, interactive tools, and more!
