About Maimana

I have obtained high grades at both GCSE and A-level Arabic. I have taught large groups at a supplementary school in the past teaching Arabic, Quran and Islamic studies to students from different backgrounds, including writing, reading and speaking. I have also undertaken many lessons in the past with tajweed in Quran.

About the lesson

I teach at beginner level from ages 5-10. I deliver lessons tailored to each students method of learning, mostly using a PowerPoint as well as sending worksheets to the students to be completed either during or after the lesson. My teaching method varies from student to student.

They undertake an initial assessment before beginning teaching which we will then go through together, and I will determine their ability stage. I approach each topic at a slow and steady pace to ensure the students understanding. My students also undertake regular assessments to check progress.

I can teach both arabic and tajweed (Quran) by request.
