I believe in explaining fundamentals of the topic, so that if any trick question of same formula comes student don't get confused.
Moreover, if student see the utilization of math in real life scenario, then they can correlate. I believe you like the game or topic or subject only if you understand it and then only you can remember it.
I also emphasis on the text book and its example and I believe that practice makes man perfect.
So, Go through fundamentals, Understand it with examples and perfact it with practice. This is my method.
