About Bertie
I have always enjoyed and excelled in the sciences and maths. I did chemistry, maths and physics at A level and achieved A’s with an A* in chemistry.
I am now in my first year doing a masters in chemistry with a year in industry at the university of Bath.
I am available to tutor over the summer part time as I will also be completing chemistry based work experience.
I look forward to the opportunity to share my enthusiasm for maths and sciences.

The advantage of one to one tuition is that the lesson can be tailored to the pupils needs; each lesson would have a clearly defined agreed goal and would be reviewed at the end to assess progress.
My approach would be to work closely as a team so that confidence and understanding can be developed to suit the pupil’s pace.
Lessons would be highly interactive with lots of worked examples to ensure full understanding before we attempt exam style questions.
