About Katherine
I'm an undergraduate English Literature student at Oxford University, with A* grades at A Level in English, History and Politics. I have experience in education, taking part in weekly English Literature programmes with primary school students.
I love reading and writing, and think schoolwork should be an enjoyable opportunity for learning instead of a chore - I believe in empowering students to truly understand the material they engage with and thus gain a richer educational experience.

I have detailed knowledge of the A Level and GCSE English and History curriculum and examination criteria, as well as with the UK university application process. I can offer detailed advice on exam-style essay writing, as well as teaching skills such as close reading and textual analysis. In addition to these generic skills, I am happy to assist with specific pieces of work, whether refining existing work or helping with the essay planning process.
I am also able to offer detailed and relevant advice on university application elements such as the personal statement and potential Oxbridge interview questions.
