About Joshua
I am an undergraduate student at the University of the Fraser Valley in a BSc studying math and physics. I plan to become a teacher and I am also studying education. My goal is to teach students how to find methods that work for them rather than telling them there is only one correct way to solve problems. I can teach middle and high school math and physics, as well as select topics in university courses.

As a tutor I aim to teach students skills to problem solve on their own. I love using real world examples to illustrate why topics are worth learning and what applications they have. I also seek to teach students in a way that works for them instead of expecting them to adapt to how I teach. Learning can be difficult, but that doesn’t mean it has to be.
