About Diya
Hi, my name is Diya Varghese, and I am currently studying at university and completed my A level exams last year. I’ve always enjoyed learning and sharing knowledge with others, which is why I’m really excited to be offering tutoring. I know how stressful exams and schoolwork can sometimes feel, so my goal is to make learning as clear, manageable, and enjoyable as possible. I would describe myself as patient, approachable, and organised. I enjoy breaking down tricky topics into simple steps and encouraging students to feel confident in their abilities. Everyone learns differently, so I like to adapt my style depending on the needs of the person I’m working with. Outside of academics, I enjoy drawing, playing piano and reading, which helps me stay balanced and motivated. I believe learning should be both effective and enjoyable, and I look forward to helping students achieve their best.

My lessons would be different for each student depending on what works for them. I would help curate essay plans, go through practice exam questions and mock exams. Another method I would also do is fun little quizzes every now and then to make sure my students know and understand the content and are confident with what they are learning. My lessons can be anywhere between 1 hour-2 hours and I would be teaching A level psychology students AQA exam board
