About Brooke
I'm very passionate about psychology, and I'm hoping to continue to graduate school and become a clinical psychologist. I've always been the type of student who has a hard time learning through the conventional methods taught in school, so I know how frustrating and difficult school can be. I've completed all of the classes I'm offering help in with A's, and I'm confident in my ability to teach the subject. I'd love to be able to share my knowledge and make learning psychology a more enjoyable experience.

There are two key parts to most psychology classes, memorization and understanding key concepts. The advantage of tutoring is that it's one-on-one, so I can figure out how you learn best and then modify my explanations and memorization techniques in a way that works for you. For a typical lesson, I'd have you send me the chapters or material you'd like to go over so I can prepare. Then at the beginning of each lesson, we'd go over your goals and what you'd like to know by the end of the session, and from there I'll work with you to reach those goals. As mentioned, these lessons are for anyone in the following classes: Introduction to Psychology, Abnormal Psychology, or Developmental Psychology.
