About Yemaya
I am an educator with a passion for learning new skills and learning about topics I am interested in. I crave knowledge and enjoy spreading my knowledge to others. I enjoy explaining concepts to peers and providing clarity when someone is confused about a certain topic. I love the look on someone's face when they finally have an "ah-ha" moment and the ideas click. I have previous experience as a peer tutor, undergraduate teaching assistant, professional tutor, college admissions advisor, and volunteer tutor across subjects such as Spanish, psychology, English, multilevel math, among others.
