About Alex

I love math, and after our lessons together, I hope you will too. I am a 20-year-old student-athlete and have excelled in sports and school for a long time. My biggest strengths are my communication skills, my ability to convey information in a clear manner and my organization with lesson material and topics. I am worldly; I have lived in three different countries in the past three years, for both athletic and academic pursuits. I am motivating; I believe everyone has the right to excel in and enjoy math. I am competent; I kept a 3.9 GPA throughout high school and currently stand with a 4.0 GPA in college, majoring in business economics. Everybody is different therefore no two lessons of mine will be the same. I adapt my lesson plans to the student, the course and the material.

About the lesson

I love to engage my students with fun and interactive activities to promote learning. I use software on an iPad to aid learning and give students extra work for practice! I am calm and supportive but most importantly, I am young so I can relate with my students. A lesson with me would include introductory activities, practiced examples tailored for the student's needs, then a review of the lesson.
