About Zara
I am an undergraduate student who is simply passionate about learning and helping others. I come from a working class background and would like to do my part to help others to achieve well in their A levels in order to access higher education, should they choose to. I understand the stress that A Levels can bring, hence I would like to share the skills and knowledge I have acquired to help others. This includes planning revision timetables and schedules, learning about content, exam structure, mark schemes and what exactly examiners are looking for.

I try to share my own methods of revision that I used when studying for my A Levels, including for dyslexic students. This includes learning about exam structure, mark schemes and essay planning. I aim to work on my student's weaknesses as a team to improve academic performance. True learning and academic achievement comes from understanding the topic and being able to identify what exam questions are asking and what examiners are looking for in answers. I believe everyone deserves to have access to resources that aid achievement. I tutor for A Level students and was previously employed by my local town council where I worked closely with young people, helping them with their daily lives which included academics. I understand the struggle and stress that A Levels can bring and am wishing to put my experience to good use by helping others of all abilities. I also have younger siblings whom I tutor, allowing me to be well versed in this area. Classes are usually a minimum of one hour per subject, but these are very flexible depending on student needs, which can be discussed.
