About Bayley

I am a current undergraduate student at West Texas A&M studying for a B.S. in Biochemistry with a minor in biology. I am a 3.8 GPA student and a student employee working as a teaching assistant for my second year now. I am extremely confident in introductory chemistry and want to help those who are struggling. As a third-year university student, I understand the struggles of not knowing where to go and being afraid to ask instructors or peers for help. However, it is also important to ensure that you understand the material to pass the class and continue your studies. After previously tutoring and currently being teaching aide for these exact classes I am more than confident that I will be able to help you build your knowledge and understand the material.

About the lesson

I am an extremely flexible person when it comes to how I teach and I do my absolute best to adapt to how you learn. I have many resources available to those that I use to help guide and teach as well as a multitude of practice problems and guides with tips and tricks. I typically start out with a general overview of the topic and some things to remember as we go through the lesson. After our introduction I will show the handouts that I recommend and then work through the topic and a few principles together. Once you feel confident I would like to do a few practice problems in a quiz format. I also like to do a quiz at the beginning of the next session as a review to see if we need to cover anything again. As a teaching assistant I have over a year of experience for teaching this subject and am more than happy to answer any questions over the subject at hand. I also know of many other free resources for you to access to help supplement my instruction. My lessons are primarily for undergraduate college students, however, I am not opposed to assisting high school students or lower grades who are needing help. The classes I am most comfortable in teaching are introductory chemistry and first-year chemistry courses.

I understand that many students struggle with pricing so I understand that keeping prices low is incredibly important. My hourly rate is moderately flexible based on individual circumstances and at my discretion. My travel fee for my in-person classes is, unfortunately, the only portion that I cannot be flexible on.
