About George

I am a Undergraduate student studying Psychological and Behavioural Sciences at Cambridge University

Tutoring has always been an exciting experience for me, finding new ways to explain a concept to help a concept "click" for a student. Seeing that "click" in action has always been one of the most rewarding parts of the process.

Having been through 6th Form, I find it easy to see from the students' perspective and can hopefully act as a role model to help them further their education.

I have a broad range of hobbies from piano to lego set design and went from cubs through to explorer scouts (with Duke of Edinburgh).

About the lesson

I am available to teach GCSE and A Level Maths, Further Maths and AQA A Level Psychology students of all abilities and adapt my approach tailored to the student's needs. Typically, lessons involve firstly developing a strong understanding of the concept, before applying them to exam questions to solidify knowledge. My recent studies have given me access to a broad range of questions, slides and other resources to help revision. Lessons are available in person for students living in Leighton Buzzard, Linslade, Heath and Reach and surrounding villages and virtual lessons are available across the country.

Experience wise, I have had a weeks work experience in Gilberts Middle School teaching maths and have effectively tutored several students in my class in mechanics and pure maths both one to one and in larger groups.

I achieved a grade 9 at GCSE in Maths and Further Maths and achieved A*s in Maths, Further Maths, Psychology and English Language
