About Marsha
I would love to teach all ranges of English (literature/language) as I am confident in both sectors. English is not only based on opinion but also how you can persuade others and back up your points with legitimate evidence. There is not right answer in English, as long as you can provide good analysis, you can portray whatever opinion you like. I studied English for GCSE and also A levels, now i am currently studying it at university as well. I love my subject and it is easy for me to teach due to my passion for it. I have had experience tutoring friends and family, and also on the site MyTutor where i have helped groups as well as individuals

My name is Marsha Fernando, and I am currently attending the University West of England in Bristol! I’m studying English literature, I thoroughly enjoy my subject as it gives me the opportunity to express my opinions as well as improve my writing and analytical skills. I have previously tutored pupils from ages 12 to 18 and also prepared students for their GCSEs and A level exams. I’d love to work with you as tutoring is not only rewarding but it’s enjoyable to get to know my students individually so we can tailor the lesson best suited to them. My subject is my passion so it’s easy for me to teach it passionately and in detail. I’d like to think I’m patient, determined and organised, all things which will prove worthy when it comes to tutoring and working with pupils. Studying and teaching the same subject has truly developed my skills and love for the subject as I can now share it with my students too. Above all of these, my main goal is to make my lessons educational yet fun and enjoyable!
