About Ella

I have a collection of high grades for German including an A* at GCSE, A at A-Level and a First in my first year university exam and I am graded at C1 on the European Union grading system. I am passionate about helping others with a language that I love so much.

During school, college and university I have taken on multiple mentoring roles so I am familiar with tutoring others with academics.

About the lesson

I am keen to learn what learning/teaching style students prefer as I believe that is what is most important when learning a language. I personally use multiple methods when developing my language skills which include: grammar exercises with colourful diagrams to spot patterns, lists of vocabulary (including common prefixes and suffixes in order to start being able to make educated guesses for words you haven’t previously learnt) and also conversational German in order to pick up phrases and would be happy to help students to work with these, amongst other methods.
