About Carlos
I am a mathematician and statistician with a doctoral degree, currently teaching at the University of Lleida. I have extensive experience in teaching and providing academic support, especially in mathematics and statistics at the university level. My mathematics and statistics classes are designed to help students fully understand the core concepts and apply them effectively to exercises and exams. I use a practical and structured approach: first, we identify the student’s specific difficulties; then, I explain the theory clearly and progressively; finally, we work through exercises step by step until confidence is gained.
Classes are tailored to the student’s level (high school or university) and can focus on descriptive and inferential statistics, probability, regression, hypothesis testing, or exam preparation. I also provide academic support for university assignments, helping students understand methods and correctly interpret results, with a particular focus on TFG/TFM projects and data analysis using R, SPSS, or Excel.
