About Samuel
Hello. My name is Sam and I am currently working as a researcher in Statistics at the University of Southampton (although living in London for personal reasons). Previous to this I studied for a PhD in Statistics at Durham University. I enjoy mathematics, playing the piano and organ, and passing my knowledge on in these areas. Although social distancing is seemingly coming to an end throughout the country, I am still reluctant to offer face-to-face tuition at present, but am happy to offer tuition online.

I discuss each student's needs before assessing the best approach to tackling any difficulties in the subject that may be arising. In general I am happy to teach in person and online, but at present would prefer online tutoring through means of a virtual whiteboard and video calling software.
I have past experience in tutoring mathematics from early year primary school arithmetic up to A-level Mathematics and Statistics, A-level Further Mathematics and degree level Mathematics/Statistics. I also have experience in teaching people to play the piano.
