About Ling
I've had extensive experience teaching, including tutoring math and chemistry during high school, teaching English to ESL students, as well as teaching Chinese to grade school students. Being a current student, I understand the difficulties that students experience when learning from an expert, and from my extensive experience from teaching one-on-one, I've learned to explain concepts in an accessible manner.
Education Background
I am currently a student in the BHSc program at McMaster. I completed Chemistry 1A03 and 1AA3 with A+ in both courses.
I completed the international baccalaureate (IB) program during high school. I completed IB 1 chemistry with 97%, and IB 2 chemistry with 98%.

As I believe that every student learns differently, I adjust my teaching method to suit each individual's needs. A typical class would start with me asking what the student would like to achieve during this time, and adjust my curriculum accordingly. I would alternate teaching points with practice questions to consolidate the information.
