About Dayo

Hi! My name is Dayo, and I’ve had over 10 years of fluency in French, having grown up in French immersion in Alberta. I’m currently a university student studying Kinesiology, minoring in French. I continue to actively take French courses to further strengthen my fluency and understanding of the language. I’ve always believed in being a student myself, as there is always room to grow and improve. I believe this mindset has always guided me to stay patient, relatable, and supportive as a friend, brother, and even a tutor. I've always enjoyed connecting and learning from learners at different stages of their language journey.

About the lesson

I teach Canadian French, with familiarity in the CBE/CSSD curriculum. I adapt each lesson to my student’s needs and learning style. I’ve worked with both kids and adults, so I'm familiar with adjusting my lesson depending on ones level and goals.

A typical lesson includes guided conversations, clear grammar explanations, and real-life examples to build confidence. What sets me apart as an educator is my patience and supportive teaching style. My lessons are suitable for beginners to B2+ level students, including elementary, high school, university, and adult learners.
