About Delisha

I recently graduated from Adlai E. Stevenson High School with highest honors. I am now an incoming first year undergraduate student at the University of Illinois-Urbana Champaign with a strong interest in languages. With 6+years of having studied Spanish and having earned the Seal of Biliteracy in Spanish, I am looking forward to sharing my passion and knowledge of Spanish with my students!

About the lesson

As a patient, enthusiastic, and adaptive tutor, I am open to teaching Spanish to all levels, from novice all the way to advanced learners of all age groups and backgrounds! No previous experience with Spanish is necessary to be tutored.

After getting a better understanding of each of my students, I cater each lesson to better fit their needs and preferred learning style. Generally, the structure of every lesson will remain consistent. The first 5-10 minutes will be spent reviewing everything that was taught in the last lesson. Then we will move onto to spending 15-20 minutes learning the new material for that lesson by going over slideshow presentation, watching videos, etc, with time to ask any questions. After this, we will practice the new content by completing worksheets, engaging in activities, etc for the next 15-20 minutes.

There will be multiple opportunities for the student to ask questions and clear their doubts throughout the lesson.
