About Alishba
I believe in providing lasting educational skills that will help you through your life.
As a native English speaker I grew up believing everyone has the right to access to better communication and speaking skills.
Being a University of Toronto undergraduate student myself, I believe that I connect well with teenagers who struggle with the English language, and hope to provide the skills necessary to succeed not only in class, but in the future as well.
I have experience in Canada as an English teacher. Many students require help and attention in certain aspects, and I make sure to provide tailored and effective lessons, allowing students to prosper!

- Lessons are 1 hour long (time is adjustable according to student)
- 1 on 1 classes with grade 9 to 12 students American curriculum, and year 9 to 13 British curriculum
Experience and Teaching methods:
- tutored for 5 years with students of different age groups and learning levels
- students are taught with school board material, and tested based on what is taught in the tutoring session
- students may receive small amounts of homework to complete before the next session
- students can bring school work and receive help completing it successfully
- students can request what material they would like to be taught
