About Harry

Hello! I’m an experienced vocalist and passionate voice coach with over 12 years of professional performance and teaching experience. My journey with music began at a young age, and over the years, I've honed my skills in various genres, including classical, pop, jazz, and musical theater. This diverse background enables me to connect with students of all musical tastes and guide them in discovering their own unique voice.

My teaching philosophy centers around the belief that everyone has a distinct voice that deserves to be heard. I strive to create a supportive and encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable exploring their vocal potential. My lessons are tailored to meet each student's individual needs and goals, whether they are beginners aiming to build foundational skills or advanced singers looking to refine their technique and artistry.

In addition to my teaching credentials, I have extensive experience performing in a variety of settings, from intimate solo gigs to large ensemble productions. About the lesson

Each vocal lesson with me is designed to unlock your unique voice and enhance your overall performance skills. We begin with a thorough warm-up, focusing on exercises that improve breath control, vocal range, and flexibility. This not only prepares your voice for singing but also helps to develop good vocal habits that are essential for long-term improvement.

The core of our lessons involves working on various pieces of music that suit your current level and musical interests. Whether you're into classical, pop, jazz, or any other genre, we’ll choose songs that both challenge and inspire you. Through detailed work on these pieces, you'll learn to apply techniques that improve your tone, pitch accuracy, and emotional expression. We also delve into aspects like phrasing, dynamics, and articulation to ensure your performances are compelling and polished.

In addition to singing, our lessons cover essential music theory and ear training. Understanding the fundamentals of music theory helps you read music more effectively and makes learning new songs easier. Ear training exercises, on the other hand, enhance your ability to recognize pitches, intervals, and harmonies, which is crucial for developing a well-rounded musical ear.
