About Kaveh

I have always been passionate and enthusiastic to know how things work and relate to each other, which led me to study physics and later got my Astrophysics master's in Iran. I have taught physics, math, and astrophysics professionally for the Astrophysics Olympiad in top Iranian highschools with many of my students receiving national/international medals.
I moved to US in 2012 and got my PhD in Astrophysics from UCR, and now I do freelance data science projects as well as tutoring physics and Astrophysics.

About the lesson

I'm Kaveh, and I hold a Ph.D. in Astrophysics from the University of California, Riverside. With a strong background in physics and mathematics, I have dedicated myself to sharing my knowledge and making complex concepts accessible to high school and college students.
My journey into the world of physics began with a passionate high school teacher who ignited my curiosity, and I aim to pass on that same enthusiasm for learning. When taught effectively, I firmly believe that physics can be both enjoyable and deeply satisfying.
Over the years, I've had the privilege of teaching college and high school students physics, mathematics, and astronomy in various settings. I've conducted public astronomy and cosmology classes, mentored students in Science Olympiads, served as a teaching assistant for numerous physics courses and labs, and even had the opportunity to instruct GRE Physics subject courses at UCR.
My approach to teaching is rooted in clarity and relatability. I specialize in breaking down complex concepts and mathematical tools, making them understandable through real-life examples. Whether you're grappling with challenging physics problems or seeking to master the algebra and calculus fundamentals, I'm here to guide you.
I'm well-equipped to prepare you for a range of standardized tests in physics, from AP Physics to SAT Physics subject tests and GRE Physics.
