I am a Chemistry PhD Student at the University of Toronto and studied my Masters in the UK. I tutor maths, chemistry, biology and physics up to Grade 11 and chemistry through to degree level. Please get in touch if you have any questions.
Lesson structure: Completely up to you however a suggestion could be:
5-10 minute introduction/re-cap
45 minute lesson
5-10 minute re-cap and discussion
Examples of students I have tutored for in the UK:
Tom: Tutored for the Eton (one of the most prestigious private schools) entrance exam and he got in!
Emma: I taught her Grade 11 chemistry, she was predicted 3 Es, and achieved 3 Bs!
Harriet: I taught her Grade 11 Chemistry, she was predicted a C and achieved an A!
Theo achieved an A in Grade 13 Chemistry, Isabelle achieved an A in Grade 12 biology, and I have tutored multiple students who were predicted Ds at Grade 9 Maths, however achieved a minimum of a B in Grade 11.
I am a PhD Student at the University of Toronto. I am passionate about science and it’s my goal to find employment as a junior scientist in order to pursue a scientific career.
I have lived in England for most of my life, however spend a lot of time in the GTA and am moving to the GTA permanently this summer. I really enjoy tutoring, find it so fun and have made a really great connection with my students in the UK. Unfortunately I cannot tutor them in Canada, and am looking to help new students with their grades in science and maths.
