About Benjamin
I am an enthusiastic Saxophone tutor with 15+ years of teaching experience and a record of successfully teaching around 150 students. I work with learners of all levels and aim to make saxophone learning clear, engaging, and rewarding.
My teaching approach is adaptable and encouraging. I customize lessons to match each student’s learning speed and musical goals, ensuring steady progress without pressure. I strive to create a comfortable environment where students feel confident to learn and improve.
Lessons focus on essential saxophone skills such as embouchure, breath support, tone clarity, finger technique, and rhythm control. As students improve, I help them develop musical expression through phrasing, articulation, and improvisation.
In addition to instrument training, I also teach music theory, sight-reading, and ear training to support overall musical understanding. My goal is to help students build confidence and enjoy their musical journey.

I follow a systematic and encouraging methodology while teaching Saxophone, guided by Communication, Accountability, and Integrity. I personalize lessons according to each student’s ability and learning pace. I focus on tone quality, breath management, fingering precision, articulation clarity, and rhythm control.
I break complex techniques into simple steps to make learning comfortable. Students are given weekly assignments and measurable goals to maintain accountability. I regularly provide performance feedback and suggest improvements. Integrity in my teaching means honest evaluation and consistent support.
In addition to Saxophone, I teach Music Theory, Sight Reading, Improvisation techniques, Jazz fundamentals, and Stage Performance skills to help students grow into well-rounded musicians.
