About Kirstie

I am a very mature, friendly and outgoing Scottish citizen. My social skills developed thanks to the professional training that I carried out while working at the British Consulates in Amsterdam and Antwerp. I lived in Turin from 1986 to 1992, where my husband was a consultant engineer for the European Space Agency. At that time I taught English at various companies, also taking private courses. Since then I have continuously taught English both privately and for various organizations. I really like teaching English, interacting with students, encouraging them to study with fun and helping them get certificates they need for their future career. I am a TEFL and CELTA instructor, having obtained my second degree in United States, Europe and the United Kingdom.

About the lesson

I like to teach using appropriate material (films, stories, stories and chats) according to interests and objectives. I teach grammar with anecdotes, jokes and songs, I love word games and idiomatic expressions that help you think in English! Also available for lessons and last minute preparation for certification exams.
