About Pamela
I've taught members of The Johannesburg Stock Exchange, CEOs of banks, mining executives, but also high school and young adults beginning their careers.
In the early 2000s, whilst spending nine years in Johannesburg, I founded 190 Communications (known as One-Ninety), where I composed modules for Business Writing - both basic and advanced - for young adults. I later added subjects of Presentation Skills and Public Speaking, as more senior managers began to contact me with these requirements. The training was conducted via email, Zoom and 1-to-1 or in small groups.

Whilst I produce skilled planning, preparation, delivery and assessment, it is important to know how I teach. Conscious learning is important, but acquiring through interaction and exposure more so. Even the etiquette of the English language is important.
I love teaching casual, conversational English, both written and spoken. Lessons are open to everyone and I welcome students in both junior and senior positions for whom English is a second language.
I care, I support and I lead. These will not be boring lessons! The way you will learn is to be connected, acquiring skills almost unconsciously, and using them in your daily life.
If you choose Business English with me, we will cover: written and spoken skills, composition and delivery skills for in-house presentations, public speaking for external delivery, business writing, general interactions with work colleagues in English and, if required, report writing.
You'll have work to do, but improvement will be fast. There will be lots of participation. I'll teach you interesting tips and facts you will never have considered, and we'll rehearse and try them out. No matter who you are, or what you need from me, we will find the answers.
