About David
Hello all, my name is David and I've been teaching math at the high school level for ten years now. I believe in engaging students and differentiating instruction to find the best way a student will learn the material.
I have taught Geometry for the past five years, but have also taught Algebra 1, Algebra 2, and Precalc/Trigonometry. I thoroughly enjoy watching a student grow in confidence and skill when it comes to their ability in mathematics.
I am currently pursuing my Master's degree in Secondary Education with a concentration in Technology, so I am very adept at apps and websites students are using such as MathXL, MyMathLab, GoogleClassroom, etc. I offer both virtual (GoogleMeet/Hangouts or Zoom) or in person tutoring sessions. I look forward to helping your child succeed in their math class and hearing from you!

-Students learn math best by practice. I think it is most beneficial to the student to work through a guided example with me, then practice where we talk through step-by-step together, then finally have them do some problems completely on their own. However, I believe that every student learns differently, so differentiated instruction to fit the students needs is key.
