About Rhea

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Violin Performance and have 7 years of experience teaching violin to students of different ages and skill levels. My journey with the violin began at an early stage and developed into a strong passion for both performance and teaching. I believe that learning violin should be clear, encouraging, and enjoyable. My teaching style focuses on patience, clarity, and building confidence step by step.

I adapt my teaching approach based on each student’s needs and learning pace. Beginners are guided carefully to build a strong foundation, while intermediate learners are supported in improving technique and musical expression. Advanced students focus on performance skills and deeper interpretation. I create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable practicing regularly and improving steadily.

Outside of teaching, I continue practicing and exploring different styles of music to improve my own skills. This helps me bring fresh ideas into lessons and keep them engaging. Helping students grow in confidence and enjoy playing the violin is one of the most rewarding parts of my teaching journey.

About the lesson

My violin lessons are designed to help students develop strong technical skills while also understanding music in a clear and structured way. I focus on posture, bow hold, bow movement, finger placement, intonation, and rhythm so students can play accurately and confidently. Lessons include scales, exercises, and selected pieces that support gradual improvement. I create a calm and supportive environment where students feel comfortable practicing and learning step by step.

Lessons are planned according to each student’s level and personal goals. Beginners start with open string practice, basic bowing, and simple melodies to build coordination and confidence. Intermediate learners work on improving intonation, bow control, and musical expression while expanding their repertoire. Advanced students focus on complex compositions, refined techniques, and performance preparation. Each lesson includes structured practice and detailed feedback to ensure steady progress.

The goal of my violin lessons is to help students become confident and expressive players who enjoy making music. They learn discipline, patience, and attention to detail while building strong technical skills. Lessons are designed to balance structured learning with creativity, helping students grow steadily and feel proud of their progress over time.
