About Ernesto
Playing violin requires a unique blend of discipline and creativity that I have cultivated over 13 years as a performer and teacher. You deserve a mentor who understands exactly how to guide you through posture and hold, vibrato, tone production, sight reading, scales and arpeggios, left hand agility, spiccato and staccato bowing.
Having taught 465 students, I realize that even the most nervous beginners possess potential that simply needs the right framework to emerge. I meet each person where they are on their musical timeline. My history includes everything from the very first lesson to high level performance coaching. This creates a solid base for you to build upon as we progress.

Musicians often think that playing louder creates a better tone, but the real secret lies in controlled bow pressure and precise weight distribution. My 13 years of experience allows me to pinpoint exactly where your technique needs adjustment during our diagnostic assessment before setting the practice plan. Because I hold a Bachelor of Music in Music Performance from The Juilliard School, I provide a high standard of technical feedback that is rarely found elsewhere. We spend our sessions refining your left hand agility and vibrato while ensuring your posture remains relaxed and sustainable for long periods of practice.
I maintain a 10.0 rating because I prioritize the needs of my students during every stage of their development. My approach ensures that you avoid common injuries while mastering complex passages through thoughtful, repeated execution of difficult movements.
