About Jenna

I have 6 years of experience teaching violin, and I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Violin Performance. My journey in music began with a strong interest in sound and melody, which gradually developed into a deep passion through continuous practice and study. This experience helped me build strong technical skills and understanding, which I now share with my students.

My teaching style is supportive, patient, and adaptable. I understand that each student learns differently, so I take time to understand their strengths and challenges. I focus on building strong fundamentals while encouraging confidence and creativity, helping students feel comfortable as they learn and grow.

Outside of teaching, I continue practising and exploring different musical styles to improve my own playing. This allows me to bring fresh ideas into my lessons and keep them engaging. Teaching violin is very fulfilling to me because I get to guide students in developing their musical abilities and confidence. Watching their progress gives me a strong sense of purpose and satisfaction.

About the lesson

My violin lessons are designed to help students learn the instrument in a clear and structured way while building strong technical and musical skills. I focus on essential fundamentals such as posture, bow control, finger placement, and tone production, explaining each concept in simple English so students can understand easily. Each lesson includes guided practice and exercises that help learners improve gradually while feeling comfortable and supported.

I organise lessons based on the student’s level so that progress feels steady and balanced. Beginners focus on holding the violin correctly, basic bowing, and simple notes. Intermediate learners work on improving finger accuracy, rhythm control, and playing simple pieces smoothly. Advanced students focus on advanced techniques, expression, and performance skills. I provide clear instructions and helpful feedback to support continuous improvement.

As students continue learning, they develop better coordination, smoother playing technique, and stronger musical understanding. They begin to express emotions through music and play with more confidence. Over time, they also build patience, focus, and discipline, which support their overall growth. My goal is to help learners enjoy playing the violin while becoming confident musicians who can perform with clarity and expression.
