About Eira

I hold a Master’s degree in Violin Performance and have 9 years of experience teaching violin to students of different ages and skill levels. My journey with the violin began early and gradually developed into a deep passion for both performance and teaching. I believe that every student can learn to play beautifully with the right guidance, patience, and consistent practice. My teaching style focuses on clarity, encouragement, and building confidence step by step.

I adapt my teaching approach based on each student’s needs and learning pace. Beginners are guided carefully to build a strong foundation, while intermediate learners are supported in improving their technique and musical expression. Advanced students focus on performance skills and deeper interpretation. I create a positive and supportive environment where students feel comfortable practicing regularly and improving steadily.

Outside of teaching, I continue to practice and explore different styles of music to improve my own skills. This helps me bring fresh ideas into my lessons and keep them engaging for students. Helping learners grow in confidence and enjoy playing the violin is one of the most rewarding parts of my teaching journey.

About the lesson

My violin lessons are designed to help students build a strong technical foundation while also developing a clear and expressive musical voice. I focus on posture, bow hold, bow movement, finger placement, intonation, and rhythm accuracy so students can play with confidence and control. Lessons include scales, technical exercises, and carefully selected pieces that gradually increase in difficulty. I create a calm and supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable practicing, making mistakes, and improving step by step without pressure.

Lessons are structured based on each student’s level and learning goals. Beginners start with open string practice, simple bowing techniques, and easy melodies to build coordination and confidence. Intermediate learners focus on improving intonation, bow control, and expressive playing while expanding their repertoire. Advanced students work on complex compositions, refined technique, and performance preparation. Each lesson includes guided practice, correction, and detailed feedback to ensure steady progress and clear understanding.

The goal of my violin lessons is to help students become confident and expressive players who enjoy making music. They learn discipline, patience, and attention to detail while building strong technical skills. Lessons are designed to balance structured learning with creative expression, helping students grow steadily and feel proud of their musical development over time.
