About Rory
I have 10 years of teaching experience and hold a Bachelor's Degree in Violin Performance. Throughout my teaching career, I have worked with students at different stages of their musical journey and helped them develop lasting skills. Teaching violin allows me to share my love of music while supporting individual growth.
My approach emphasizes patience, consistency, and personal development. I focus on helping students build strong technical foundations while encouraging creativity and musical expression. Every learner receives support that reflects their unique needs and aspirations.
One of the most satisfying parts of teaching is seeing students gain confidence in their abilities. I enjoy helping learners overcome obstacles and reach important milestones. My aim is to create lessons that inspire both progress and enjoyment.

My violin lessons are designed to help students develop strong playing skills through steady and enjoyable learning. We focus on bow technique, left-hand coordination, pitch accuracy, rhythm stability, tone refinement, and musical interpretation. Every lesson provides a clear path for improvement while keeping learning motivating and rewarding.
I include technical studies, scale development, posture exercises, listening practice, and performance-focused activities to strengthen overall musicianship. Students learn how to practice efficiently and build confidence through consistent progress. Lessons encourage careful attention to detail while maintaining enjoyment of the instrument.
Each student receives a learning plan tailored to their goals and experience level. Whether preparing for performances, examinations, or personal development, lessons provide practical guidance and meaningful support. My goal is to help learners become confident musicians who enjoy expressing themselves through violin.
