About Tula
I hold a Bachelor of Music in Violin Performance and a Master of Music in String Pedagogy, with 6 years of experience teaching students of all ages and skill levels. My teaching emphasizes technical mastery, musical expression, and performance confidence. I provide structured lessons incorporating exercises, repertoire, sight reading, and performance preparation, while fostering creativity and emotional connection to music.
I tailor my instruction to each learner’s abilities, goals, and learning style. Beginners build foundational skills, intermediate students refine technique and expressive ability, and advanced learners focus on interpretation, performance, and mastery of complex repertoire. My approach emphasizes encouragement, patience, and clear guidance to create an engaging and supportive learning environment.

Beginners work on posture, bow hold, finger placement, simple melodies, and basic rhythm exercises. Intermediate students develop advanced bowing techniques, scales, shifting, vibrato, expressive phrasing, and ensemble skills. Advanced learners focus on performance refinement, interpretation, technical precision, complex repertoire, and concert preparation. Lessons include exercises, demonstrations, and individualized feedback to foster steady growth and skill development.
Studying violin nurtures discipline, musical sensitivity, and performance confidence. Students gradually gain technical proficiency, interpretive insight, and expressive freedom, enabling them to perform confidently in solo and ensemble settings.
