About Michael
I have extensive experience in orchestral violin and solo performance, I bring a strong foundation in classical technique and a passion for musical expression. I have performed with various ensembles – performing not only
classical music, but also folk, jazz, and theater music. Equally important to me is teaching and mentoring young musicians. I have guided students of varying levels in violin performance, music theory, and ensemble collaboration, helping them build confidence and technical skill. I believe in fostering a supportive and disciplined
learning environment that encourages artistic growth and personal development.
Achievements:
— Won 2nd prize at the regional competition of the Chamber Quartet Ensemble in Croatia
— Performed with the Orchestre des Jeunes de la Méditerranée
— Performed with the Orchestre National des Jeunes du Luxembourg
— Performed with the Croatian Baroque Ensemble

The first lesson is very laid back! I ask students to play whatever they’re comfortable playing if they have already been playing violin for some time to get an understanding of their strengths and weaknesses. For beginners, we will go over the very basics— starting with the right hand (the bow hold, finger placements, and the standard motions).
