About Margot
Voice training begins with the gentle release of air through the vocal folds as you find your true center. By utilizing my recorded warm-up routines, you maintain consistent progress between our meetings to ensure your instrument stays strong and healthy.
I guide singers through the complexities of articulation and exam preparation, keeping the technical demands of the craft clear and accessible for students at any level. This long-term approach allows even the most hesitant beginners to develop a resonant tone that carries across a room. We work steadily to refine your performance quality until the music feels like it belongs to you.

Performance-focused students often start their sessions with a specific song that keeps them up at night. I watch them discover their natural resonance in those opening moments. My background includes 13 years of instruction and a degree from UBC.
I have worked with over 169 students to improve their breathing control and diction. We refine tone and microphone technique in every single meeting.
My lessons are built for absolute beginners and career-driven adults. I also incorporate sight singing into our technical routines. These skills help you build confidence on stage. Music is a huge part of my own life.
