About Michelle

I help students manage stage fear by breaking down complex pieces into manageable parts that feel familiar and safe. Drawing on my background as a strings major, I emphasize the importance of sight singing and internalizing rhythm.
These sessions are tailored to suit the performance goals of teens and adults who want to stand out. My 7 years of teaching experience allow me to identify exactly where your phrasing needs adjustment to enhance your overall sound. I provide the technical foundation you need to sing with total clarity and poise.

Beginning my musical life at 5 years old, I spent my childhood surrounded by instruments before formalizing my training at The Glenn Gould School. I have taught 160 students over 7 years, helping them navigate the challenges of performance and vocal health. My experience spans multiple instruments, which grants me a deep understanding of how rhythm and phrasing interact with the human voice.
I have seen countless teens and adults struggle with stage fright, and I provide specific strategies to help you gain control in front of an audience. My teaching style is direct, clear, and focused on building your confidence without any unnecessary pressure.
I maintain a warm environment where you can explore your vocal range safely and effectively. You will find that my approach prioritizes your growth as an expressive performer above all else. My goal is to keep our sessions grounded in real progress and steady vocal development.
