About Isla
Why should we sing when we can perform with intention? I ask this to get us started on your goals. We look at your range to build a personalized song list. This ensures we protect your vocal health while working on extension.
I cover everything from vibrato control to microphone technique for my students. We explore head and chest voice through specific exercises. I also work with grade exam candidates on diction and articulation. My background helps me guide teens and adults through complex genre styling.
It feels natural to guide you through these techniques. I look forward to hearing your progress.

Do you want to understand how your voice works? I have spent 13 years helping people find their true sound. My background includes a formal education at Concordia University. I have worked with 331 students who needed guidance on pitch control or belting.
I focus on vocal health and care to ensure you can sing for a lifetime. My own experience as a songwriter informs how I treat each voice. It is a quiet process of discovery.
