About Valerie
Pacing must be slower than you expect to yield the best vocal results. I provide recorded warm-up routines shared for daily home practice to keep your instrument healthy.
We address stage fear management through practical performance simulations. Sight singing and rhythm are woven into every session.
Pitch control is a technical skill. We work on your range extension with gentle persistence. It is never just about hitting the note.
We focus on the phrasing that turns a song into a statement. I hope to help you find your true, resonant sound.

I teach because the voice is the most intimate instrument a person can possess. Standing on a stage after 13 years of professional performing across Canada, I recall the exact moment I realized that vocal resonance requires both vulnerability and technique. My BMus degree provides the foundation for my pedagogy.
I work with absolute beginners as well as advanced learners and adults who are refining their belting technique. Whether you are a teen or an intermediate student, I recognize that tone control is a life-long pursuit. My goal is to equip you with the tools to express your artistic identity with total freedom.
