About Miriam
I was born in Barcelona, and the mixture of cultures made me want to discover all of them and show mine to the world. Thanks to my strong commitment to self-learning and my succinct and encouraging way of teaching, I managed to deliver work effectively and have a beneficial impact on my students all over my career as a teacher.
As far as my professional experience is concerned, I have had the great fortune of working for a year and a half at World Class BCN; a language school specializing in teaching Spanish. At the school I not only led courses from level A1 to level C1 of the MCRE, but I was also involved in planning Spanish classes and their content, managing academic projects and creating and evaluating didactic materials.
I am also a B1-B2 DELE levels examiner, so I'm ready to prepare you for the Instituto Cervante's Official examns!

Notwithstanding this approach, I am keen to emphasize my willingness to adapt to any new materials or resources presented to me, so long as they are in line with the philosophy and methodology of the school. My teaching style is enhanced by my natural flair for clear pedagogical communication in the classroom and my high level of creativity, initiative, and innovation when it comes to developing and executing educational methods.
I have been tutoring Spanish and Catalan as foreign languages for the past two years, during which period I have developed my transferable skills and flexibility as a teacher. For both group lessons and private tutoring, I tend to employ E/LE manuals alongside materials – either handcrafted or extracted from other sources – which specifically complement these manuals.
